The Shanghai circuit, however, is starting to grow on me. It's a nice track

I wish they’d show more/better angles of that corkscrew looking T1-3. Didn’t seem like the most of the shots didn’t justice.

Ferrari are set to add blue to their F1 car for a special one-off livery at the upcoming Miami Grand Prix.
The change from their traditional iconic red livery in Miami will celebrate 70 years of the Prancing Horse in the United States.
Two shades of blue - Azzurro La Plata and Azzurro Dino - will feature on the SF-24 at the next grand prix.
Azzurro La Plata is a lighter shade of blue and the national colour of Argentina. Alberto Ascari used this colour for his overalls and helmet when he become Ferrari’s first world champion in 1952.
Azzurro Dino, a darker shade of blue, was worn by the likes of Clay Regazzoni and Arturo Merzario.
Ferrari ran a special US white and blue livery for the final two races of the 1964 season when John Surtees won the world championship.
Surtees, a seven-time Grand Prix motorcycle World Champion remains the only person to have won World Championships on both two and four wheels.

Seeing F1 Ferraris in blue on the grid in Miami is going to be a trip.
For visual reference, I googled Ferraris in these colors.
Ferrari 488 Pista in Azzurro Dino
Ferrari 488 Pista in Azzurro La Plata

Ain't gonna lie, if I went to my first F1 race, and Ferrari shows up in something other than red I'd be pissed off.
Obviously, they didn't consider my feelings in their in house arguments.

I saw a video about Mercedes decline over the past few years and thought their point totals through five races was interesting.
2020 - 180 pts (4 wins)
2021 - 148 pts (3 wins)
2022 - 95 pts (0 wins)
2023 - 96 pts (0 wins)
2024 - 52 pts (0 wins)
And then looking at Red Bull is either cool or depressing
2020 - 113 pts (1 win)
2021 - 149 pts (2 wins)
2022 - 151 pts (3 wins)
2023 - 224 pts (5 wins)

Azzurro La Plata
Looks like a return to the pastels that were hot in the mid 80s.

In the prediction rankings, MikeD leads for the 5th race in a row, but the order behind him was shook up a little. The only changes in the championships are that Ocon moved up two spots in the WDC, and Alpine moved ahead of Sauber in the WCC. Since I had more faith in Alpine in my prediction, I moved up a few spots to a podium position for now.

Saw some reports that Newey is looking to leave Red Bull due to the internal power struggle. Will be interested to see if anything comes from it and if he actually leaves, or where the destination would be.

I know Max has in his contract around Marko leaving and him being able to jump too, is Newey in it by chance?

Up to #2.
I don't think it'll hold though. Alpine seems to be figuring out how to not come in last.

The shoe gives you an idea what a two-tone blue Ferrari would look like.

If tweet fails to load, click here. For those of you who think the car will still be red but with blue accents, I think it's a pretty bad color combination. I want to see a blue car.

Everyone speculating he's going to Ferrari.
I think it'd be funny and prob good for the sport if he just retired.

Where does he go and where does Max follow?
AM? Mercedes?

Obviously I think Ferrari makes a huge play for Newey and is probably the favorite, but I wouldn't be shocked to see Aston Martin throw a stupid offer out there as well.
Everybody assumes that Audi is where Sainz ends up, but if Papa Stroll is truly serious about making AM a contender, I could see them making an offer to Sainz to replace Lance. An Alonso/Sainz driver lineup with Newey would definitely be a contender.

This is bigger news than drivers swapping teams IMO
