Well apparently a motorsport.com journalist named Kemal Sengül broke the news that AlphaTauri is going to give Yuki a contract extension sooner rather than later. Sengül announced this scoop in... Turkish.

I'll admit I thought AlphaTauri would wait until later in the year to give the extension (if he showed well against Ricciardo), but I think they hold Yuki in much higher regard than many people in this thread.

The title of the video below implies that's it's about Tsunoda/Ricciardo, but actually it has a lot of details of upcoming changes at AlphaTauri, such as change in major sponsor, change in focus to be a fully competitive F1 team and not just the Red Bull satellite team, move from Italy to UK, change of team principal, etc.

Tsunoda's BIG CONFESSION after Ricciardo's ARRIVAL!

Possible Carlos moves to Audi in 2024 but didn’t his dad race for Audi in some sand race?

The same businesses that rip us off? Pay or get obstructed, they have to deal with it.

The powers that be in Las Vegas agreed to the contract.

This isn't unique to the Las Vegas race.

another subject, I bought F1 23 on PS5 last week, and holy shite, what a nightmare. I’m not great at games, but this one has me feeling borderline retarded.

The Palazzo is 650' tall. F1 just going to build a big screen wall? They'll spend more money screening the damn thing than losses in ticket sales just letting guests watch for free from their hotel room.

all the hotels are already charging $1500+ a night over the 3 day weekend.

now they want to block off restaurants and bars that dont pony up $1500 x Max Occupancy

I suspect the hotels were always onboard with the 1500 a night rate from the inception of the event

They can go the Baku route and just put up a fake facade on the non-paying businesses

Do you have a wheel?

Handling without the traction control and ABS assists is much easier on '23 than '22 IMO.

shite, if I can have a view of the race from my hotel room, that's dirt cheap if you had a few buddies for a Vegas trip.

If you look at it like having a good time in Vegas. If you want to see the race, that's a crap way to watch it and a shite show weekend to avoid.

Yeah, anyone renting a room expecting a good view is going to be in for disappointment.

You will see some cars pass by, but you won't see anything of note.

I just have a controller too. Turn off the braking and turn assists. I also changed my settings by using the guide in this article. The only thing I didn't change was the max wheel rotation, i kept that at 360. These settings along with disabling the braking and turning assists helped me tremendously.

Tangential silly season news: It doesn't sound like Palou is going to Arrow Mclaren next year. So, he either stays at Ganassi, or...?

At this point I’m not sure which F1 driver will be out of a seat next year. Even Sergeant has had his moments.
