At times I think there should be no commentary and they should simply have Yuki's mic open. Dude is hilarious.

Nice to see a battle for 1st for a while here with all the street tracks before Max steps on everyone’s throats and wins the champ by 100+

I hate street circuits

I like them but it's hard for any race to be exciting this season. I'm glad Ferrari has improved over the last month but they and merc are no match for Max.

He's so dreamy.

If this was nascar thinking they’d put restrictor plates on them (said sarcastically)

One note, Indycar has good racing on any circuit. The push to pass is better than DRS in that sense, it makes you strategic in use.

Its like these cars are too big for tracks. And they increased rear tire size. They are too overengineered. I don’t know how to fix unless you have a clean slate. All racing has issues with dirty air for the following car. No one answer will fix this bit refueling would help in many ways.

It will not be fixed soon. Teams and how F1 is setup with money are too entrenched. HAAS has been in for several years and cannot and will not sniff a win. Americans have been a part of sports growth but Americans have short attention spans and like someone said the sport can lose fans as fast as it gains them.

I enjoy the strategies of different racing but for pure racing moments F1 is behikd Indy and Nascar. But its so techy I still enjoy it. The production of races is better. No woke agenda for the most part. No commercials either so you can enjoy strategy as it plays out.

With Anerican owners I do wonder when they alter things. If you reduce engine power you would pack them up closer. But would that make good racing or cause way more wrecks. The costs to fix cars is so much higher than the other big 2 racing leagues.

Complaining about what makes F1 F1.

There are plenty of other racing series that are spec. The reason F1 is the spectacle it is because every part of the series is insane: the schedule, the crowds, the celebrities, the cars.

Not complaining, observing and comparing. I even said I like they are so techy. Its about growing the sport and if they can sustain it. Most new fans expect some passing and not parades. So at some point they will need to decide.

And don’t put it past American owners to Americanize it. That might mean less tech.

Morning, F1 bros.

What do we think about the upcoming Miami GP? I don't know anything about the track profile.

@fightin tigers

F1 survived more than 30 years of Bernie Ecclestone. Think about that for a while. F1 will be fine, albeit probably different.

Last year it wasn’t an exciting race, biggest thing that happened is the actual circuit was coming apart in places so they were having to patch it heading into the weekend.

Oh and everyone was picking on the stupid yachts getting parked and having plywood painted like water put around them.

I'm only a couple years of F1 in now but I think that was definitely the most boring race I've ever watched. Somehow I didn't fall asleep. The announcers were even debating if it was the most boring race in recent memory

It's bad when a dead last Gasly/Bottas pass is being shown at the end of the race as some of the better action.

Very surprised how ok Max was with the outcome. The break didn't go his way but he wasn't on the headset calling for them to let him overtake Checco. They let them race and it showed Checco was a little bit faster.

It’s a very fun track to play on F1 22

I'm not surprised he didn't pitch a fit. Max will probably win 5 of the next 7 races and be firmly in the WDC lead.
