Martin Brundle's grid walk was pretty epic.
Second best part of the race after Mick taking out his bestest buddy.

I'm so bad between turns 11-16. Comically bad. Sometimes I can nail 11-13, but it falls apart at 14.

quote:checo is a bit odd. Some tracks he's right there with max and others he's struggling in 6th or 7th in practice. I don't really understand it
i believe everyone within the sport knows this, including checo.

It's cool to see how much more popular F1 is in the US now. I was watching the IndyCar race listening to Leigh Diffey thinking about the NBCSN days not that long ago.

More races like Baku and it'll start dropping.

Miami should suck. I don't remember Imola that much but I don't think there's anywhere to pass there either. Then Monaco

I guess my memory is hazy. I don't remember coming away from Miami last year all that disappointed. It didn't compete with races like Silverstone or anything like that, but I don't remember Miami being one of the races I complained about being bored watching.
Give me a race in Miami over Monaco any day.

I remember Miami being rather mediocre and hating the shitshow they did with the track under the overpass.

More from Vanzini at Sky Italy (who talked to an Italian engineer of Red Bull, they casually met on mountain where they both have a house), it’s certain that Ferrari got 3 engineers from Red Bull, two Italians and one English, said engineer added that all the Italian engineers at Red Bull want to go to Ferrari.

With so few overtakes in Monaco, I suppose the race organizers might state that "it is the supreme test of a driver to win at Monaco. Only the best are deserving winners!" or some complete bullshite like that. I hate that venue.

Indy pretty much matched F1. Nice to see, I enjoyed the Indy race Sunday. Lots of wheel to wheel racing.

I like Indy, but I despise Indy broadcasts. Mother's needs to sponsor Indy, too

Imola was a DRS train.
Highlights everyone remembers was HAM stuck behind GAS for 80% of the race. And Max eventually lapping HAM. Only 9 cars finished on the same lap.

There was no grip off the main line. It was almost like a race in the wet so everyone just kind of single filed.
They were supposed to rework the underpass, so we'll see how that goes.

This is insane. Monaco needs to go. I get the history behind it but man there is no point in even racing.
Way too many races that are just car parades.

Jeez. I knew the passing went way down at Monaco, but had no idea it was that bad. That's just ridiculous. As you said, it's a parade.

5 overtakes was the most since 2016.
2016 - 14
2017 - 3
2018 - 4
2019 - 2
2020 - no race
2021 - 0
2022 - 5
I still love Monaco though, I can't help it.
