How hard would it be to get on one of those mechanic teams? Every race weekend I think what if I just quit my job and could join one of these mechanic teams and travel the world haha

Nice going, Charl. The tifosi are filled with cautious optimism.
I forgot this one has a sprint race. I don't mind getting up at 6 to watch the race. It reminds me of the good ole days when all of the races were at frick off in the morning, but I'm not getting up at 430 for the sprint gimmick. I'll check that out on youtube

Sprint is 8:30 CST tomorrow. Sprint qualifying is 3:30 am.

I didn't realize this was race quali and not sprint quali until Martin was saying LeClerc gets another pole for Sunday at the end

I'm going to be the outlier and say I like the format. It's more engaging than three practice sessions. I would like to see them make the points for the sprint race more meaningful to encourage more racing.

There should be betting odds. Will they...
A) Start on the wrong tire
B) Change to the worst possible tire during the race
C) One stop when everyone else is on a two stop strategy
D) Two stop when everyone else is on a one stop strategy
E) Box early and put LeClerc in traffic
F) Box early before a red flag
I'm going with F. They'll box a few laps early, Red Bull will then go long, Stroll will eat a wall...LeClerc finishes 4th.
