They were dead. Avs took foot off gas came out completely flat 3rd period. Blues never gave up.
I know most of these goals were not his fault but Keumper needs to be better. He made some good saves, but he can't allow 5 goals full stop.
Wasted a great performance from McKinnon.
I said it before playoffs started from the Avs - they have the talent to win it all and have the past 3 years, but I'll believe it when I see it. Any reason for them to have some mental breakdown can cause catastrophe. This is it. No big injury excuses now like the past few years. Get it done or go home. They have dominated this series except for Game 2 but can't close.

Keumper has played poorly all series and is the only reason Blues have had any hope at all since Binnington went down.

If the Blues can win game 6 the Colorado players butts are going to be seriously clenched in game 7. The Blues need to handle Colorado's speed better or they aren't gonna get there.
