They took a bunch of spaces for the NHL pre game fan fest. I haven’t been to an NC State game since I rode in on a visiting team bus but apparently people with State parking passes have assigned parking and know where to go while this was a free for all.

Blackhawks/Stars on TNT. Stars raced out to a 3-0 lead. Blackhawks have scored 4 straight. There used to be a time a long time ago 3 goal leads were safe. But not anymore.

Ryan Johansen took a skate to the Achilles area a couple nights ago. Team says he's out 12 weeks but there is speculation it could be a lot longer and even potentially career ending.

Avs have a really crucial next few weeks - v WPG, Dallas, VGK, and other heavy hitters
If they perform well and take advantage of games in hand they can still win the division which was unthinkable a few weeks ago.
Or they can falter and remain in the WC battle.
Even with Cale out, that win from down 0-3 v Edmonton was gritty

The Avs are starting to look a lot like a team that can make a run at a repeat. We have the cap room in LTIR to make a move or two (or 3 if Landy is out until the postseason).
This has been the most impressive period of their season.
EDIT: controlling their own destiny is insane based on where we were a month ago. Bednar deserves the Jack Adams if we win the Central.
