I didn't know he was still playing.

quote:

Jaromír Jágr celebrated his 51st birthday about a week early by scoring his 1,099th goal to overtake Wayne Gretzky at the top of the chart.

Jágr, who will turn 51 on Feb. 15, scored for the Kladno Knights on Sunday in a 5-4 loss at Trinec in the Czech league.

The winger, who was the NHL's second-highest point scorer in 2018 when he was released by the Calgary Flames, got his 1,099 goals in professional games and at international tournaments.

Tarasenko traded to Rangers. It's a sad day. But is something that needed to happen.

Knew Tarasenko was gonna to get dealt at some point. Thankful for being a key member of the Cup team.

Can we just end the season for my Habs? It’s depressing to read the game summaries and see highlights on how they invent new ways to give up goals.

It will all be worth it if they get the #1 draft pick. That's why I hope the Blues dump all their pending UFA's for more draft picks, prospects, and a better chance for the top draft pick.

Pens got their royal asses kicked last night by the Kings. 6-0.

Ouch.

What a MASSIVE win for the Avalanche, especially on the back to back.

2 points ahead with a game in hand against the Wild is exactly what the doctor ordered.

And Manson’s return proved huge. Get Cale back soon and Landy skating again, and there will be a run.

Blues are open for business. Barbashev, O'Reilly, and Acciari are on the open market.

What a disappointing OT loss for the Bolts against the Coyotes. 47 shots on net and a shutout was not good enough I guess. At least they get a point.

Had fun watching Avs-Wild on TNT last night, reminded me of the playoffs

Avs looked like shite but still pulled out the win. Just as they're getting healthier, other players get injured. Need to make a move at the deadline for an offensive piece.

Avs have a rough February, only playing 1 team not in playoffs or square in the hunt. Also 4 sets of back to backs in less than 3 weeks. Weird shite schedule.

It sucks, but we are getting hot at the right time with getting mostly healthy (at least most we’ve been all year). Makar and Helm were skating today and board battling. They should be back before month’s end. Then we are just a Landy and Frankie away from having fun (EDIT: EJ too, but while he’s still valuable getting Manson/Makar/Bryam back make it doable).

I’m still pissed about the hit on Makar resulting in nothing.
