Rusty's mid-90's paint scheme.
One of my favorites. I hated when they switched to Miller Lite because the MGD car was just beautiful ride.

I agree. Never a DW fan but that was a good looking car.

I’ve posted these before but these are my favorites

You are gonna like Josh Berry's throwback this weekend then.

Was not a Gant fan, but liked the car. Probably because of the Bandit being so prominent.

Waltrip Gatorade paint scheme also was nice

I saw that, I think that’s my favorite throwback one by far. That Looney tunes car JR drove might have been the most dominant car in a race I’ve ever seen. He was untouchable that night. He would’ve lapped the whole field if the race was longer.

My grandfather and the hauler (Ted Harrison RIP) driver were best friends back in the day. Dad was asked by Ted to help him with race day prep which included gluing and maybe, maybe not shaving lug nuts, also filling up the fuel tanks at the racetrack for chocolate.
Dude, that’s badass. Got any old pics from back then? Would be cool to see

To me, Trackhouse has officially won the greatest throwback scheme award, doing a throwback to the Coca-Cola cars driven by Dale Earnhardt and Dale Jr. in Japan in an exhibition race in 1998. This was Dale Jr.'s first time in a Cup car and first time competing against his Dad.
The unique thing is that the 1 car is able to be exactly like the car Jr. drove since it is a Chevy, has the same sponsor and paint scheme, and is the same number with the same number font. The only difference is that Trackhouse had to add a black slash in the number 1 to get around any trademark infringement claims by Teresa Earnhardt who still owns the trademark to the old DEI number 1 car font.
And you'll see here that they added a black slash in the no. 1 on Wednesday:

I absolutely loved Davey’s paint schemes. My favorite driver growing up along with Dale Jarrett (when Davey passed away) and Bill Elliot

Other paint schemes that I liked:

Finally, I know it was in a movie but I absolutely loved

Chase needs to roll this one out soon. His dad's scheme was dope.

Chase has run this a few times. He needs to run it more IMO.

"And rubbin' son, is racing!"

Badass!
God I miss Davey.

That blue and red Quality Care/Ford Credit scheme DJ had is my all-time favorite.

Absolutely loved the scheme. I was disappointed when he changed to the UPS scheme( which wasn’t bad).

I’m going to get a few old pics from when my dad worked for the team this weekend.
He also on the side cooked for the team when he made the trips. I have a few good stories he told me from over the years.
I got some sweet pics from this car if I can find them.

Anybody remember DW's story from Darlington after he crashed out of the race driving the DEI Pennzoil car?
He filled in for Steve Park(I believe) in the 1 car. They interviewed him at the ICC after the crash. He was running pretty well and moving up before he wrecked. He said, "I was trying to get up front to see what all the excitement was about. IT WAS ME!!". Best post wreck interview I've seen besides Tony Stewart.

fricking c#nt
The shite she pulled on Budweiser when they made the last ride tribute commercial for Junior was ridiculous. Bud couldn’t even show the 8 in the video or show Senior’s face in videos where he was in victory lane to congratulate Jr.
She is evil
