Not really excited to hear Petty in the booth today either. I like the man, don’t get me wrong, but he’s not the commentating type. He seems fairly quiet.

As promised, I found a few pics from when he took my grandfather to Chevy week at Daytona. My dad took most of these pictures for my Paw Paw.
This picture is my grandfather with Neil Bonnett. You can notice that Neil is favoring one side because he broke his leg when crashed in practice at either Talladega or Daytona. He couldn’t remember exactly where.

We were talking some good stories from the few years he helped out with Ted. I didn’t realize Ted did the fuel statistics for Kurt, Larry and Andy.
