Lot of potential this today for a midfield car to win it especially if the rain comes on to frick with Ferrari. Lando or an Alpine likely podiums today regardless.

Hey guys. F1 newbie here.
Just watched all 4 seasons of DTS, so yeah I’m that dude. Enjoyed the show, but not current. Plan on following next year from the start now that I know the schedule.

I just took a look at the current standings. So a quick question.
Russell outperforming Lewis. Wow. Did Max beating him last year put out the fire, or has he just had an unlucky year? That ending last year was fun, but kind of weird honestly. I was ready for Lewis to get beaten, but 6th?

Lando needs his Sochi rain redemption arc to play out and take the win today.

I mean Hamilton doesn't have the car to compete with the top teams this year. That being said it does seem clear that Russell is going to be driver 1 at Mercedes soon, if not already.

Why wait until next season? We still have half a season left. Go on youtube and watch the race highlights for the first half of the season to get caught up then join live with espn or f1 tv. There is ton of racing left this season

F1 tv has replays of all the race weekends in full or condensed versions. Espn app has replays of some races, but I don't believe they have all the replays. Someone can fact check me on that...

If you listen to podcasts there are also numerous ones about F1. Most of which have a review episode after each race weekend. So that's another way to get caught up.

Point is there are a lot of ways to get caught up with this season so that you can jump in now instead of waiting until next season

he's 37. He's slightly past where most f1 drivers (not named Alonso) remain competitive. But IMO he's just as quick as ever he's just in the 3rd fastest car. Schumacher was at his best at 35. That's about when most drivers begin to deteriorate physically and mentally. Hamilton and especially Alonso are the exceptions historically at least but with sports science today giving us Tom Brady, who really knows anymore?

Getting closer and closer every week.

Beginning of the season Russel was clearly out performing, but the last 3-4 weeks, Hamilton has been showing him a few things.
