New F1 fan here watching for the 1st time...go easy on me lol.
I assume the answer to my question here is YES since it's practice sessions but is it normal to see this many dudes either touching the wall or going completely off track? And if so, is that more so normal in practice sessions where they're testing the limits of the car vs the track but I can assume I'll see much less of that during the actual race on Sunday?

Touching walls is never a good thing. Going off track happens as people are still messing around with their car

I'd say yes, keeping in mind that all 20 drivers are at this circuit for the first time in these newly redesigned cars, new tire compounds, etc and are trying to find the limit to how far they can push things. Usually by race time they've cleaned it up.
That is, unless your name is Stroll, Latifi, or Mick. Then who knows, they could drop it at any moment.

Wish Seb would just retire instead of trying to lecture us every week. CO2 and Meat are bad. As the helmet has Aramco and Crypto stickers. As he leaves the track Sunday in his private jet and probably eats a steak.

Would be nice if the Aramco sheiks tell him to STFU and drive.
Or, pull their sponsorship.

Seb has quite quickly gone from a driver I liked being around to Lewis-level hatred in my books.

He's always been insufferable especially when he was winning at RB

He was only likable when he was the red-headed step child at Ferrari. RB Seb and AM Seb have been annoying.

Did Guenther send Mick out with a loose radiator cap just to save the car from the walls?

Quite possible.
For saying they are figuring the car out and what setups it likes they looked like absolute dogshit today.

Difference between the Ferrari wings;

Damn that's a huge delta

I have zero idea on aerodynamics and don't think it is even plausible, but what if the Red Bull flappy rear wing is what prevents their porpoising.

Waiting for Obtuse1 to come us school us on Newey's aero design magic that prevents the Red Bulls from porpoising.

Interesting that even the cornering speed is faster with the low DF wing.

I like how he’s sponsored by ARAMCO.
Seb understands what the Saudis did to Yemen?
Anyway, stoked for Baku. I love this circuit.
