Sainz in P2 helped Red Bull avoid an embarrassing situation where they would have asked Checo to move over for Max. 
Also, these timed races illustrate why it's silly that F1 doesn't use a white flag.

Way more entertaining than I expected coming into today. Great to see the tire and pit strategies really impact the race.

I’m surprised they don’t have a guy that speaks the same primary language as the driver. I know most of these guys know English too but you gotta think when shite is hitting the fan their brains are working in French/Italian/etc

In Italy Ferrari usually speaks Italian on radio messages, but it seems like it is an FIA/F1 rule that they have to speak English.

Lol. I’m sure his time will come but damn, dude seems cursed here. Qualifying is the biggest part of the battle, and he’s qualified p1 twice without even a podium
