They have added Batum, Lin, Spencer Hawes, Jeremy Lamb and drafted Frank Kaminsky to go along with Al Jeff, Walker, Kidd-Gilchrist and Zeller. I think they are putting together a winning roster. Not a contender, but a playoff team with upside.

That's 8 seed potential.

I like Big Al, but there is not a young player there that scares me and I think Kaminsky is going to be a bench player in the pros...and why draft him if you still believe in Zeller?

At least Winslow would have given another perimeter guy.

Big Al, Spencer Hawes, Zeller, Frank the Tank-who is protecting the rim?

I think this whole situation just goes to show you how special a player DeAndre Jordan is. When you have future HOFers crying for you to stay their teammate and billionaires camped out in your driveway hoping to get 5 minutes with you, you've got something to offer that no one else has--including players like Olajuwon and Ewing way back in the 1990s (obviously).

I'm hoping he stays away from OKC.

Zach Lowe ?@ZachLowe_NBA 4m4 minutes ago OKC is just about $2.5M under the tax, so a max deal for Kanter would cost them nearly $40M.

Zach Lowe ?@ZachLowe_NBA 3m3 minutes ago OKC will likely match, + then look to deal Novak/Augustin/PJII for $0. But POR is forcing their hand. Lots of teams were rooting for this.

He is a horribly flawed player. But if there's any situation he could succeed it's next to Ibaka so hope he's back. Still not a good use of a lot of money imo

The problem with the Hornets is that they don't look 5-10 years down the road.

Was Frank the Tank really worth 4 first rounders?

He has been one of the best players in Orlando.

Their high pick and roll with him has been unstoppable

The Nets just announced that they've rescinded Mirza Teletovic's qualifying offer. He's now an unrestricted FA.

Justise has been looking pretty questionable in Summer League, most of his points have come from the FT line...he's having trouble creating a shot for himself. Early bust candidate for sure.
