They have added Batum, Lin, Spencer Hawes, Jeremy Lamb and drafted Frank Kaminsky to go along with Al Jeff, Walker, Kidd-Gilchrist and Zeller. I think they are putting together a winning roster. Not a contender, but a playoff team with upside.

They will be infinitely more watchable this year, they needed shooting and scoring punch badly. Don't see a ton of upside, all their best guys are the 3rd guy on a real good team at best.

Kind of like the Hawks were going into last year.
I think you're right, they have a bunch of role players around Al Jeff. They just seem like a team that will have good chemistry. We'll see. I don't expect them to be contenders but I think they have done a nice job retooling that team.

and subtracted Lance. let us not forget that. good summer, though I'd have like to have seen them grab Justise over Frank.

Justise has been looking pretty questionable in Summer League, most of his points have come from the FT line...he's having trouble creating a shot for himself. Early bust candidate for sure.
ETA: and he's not getting those foul calls against NBA bigs.

The Summer League is not where you find out who can be good in the NBA. It's where you find out who can't be good in the NBA.
