Yeah, Dallas needs to start moving on to plan B.
Honestly, it could be good for them. They were never going to win a title with a ???/Matthews/Parsons/Dirk/Jordan core. Dirk is falling off too quickly and Matthews, while I'm a big fan, needs to be an elite role player, not a top 3 guy.
Now, Dallas just has to be smart and let Matthews back out of his deal and go elsewhere, then trade Parsons and possibly Dirk for future assets. If Cuban was truthful in his "without DJ, we would have tanked" comment, then he needs to go through with it.

If they let Matthews go, I think they'll be bad enough with Dirk and Parsons to still tank.
I don't think Dirk's going anywhere and I don't think Parsons is good enough to keep them out of the top 10 of the draft. Top 7? Not sure.

I don't want DJ to go back to the Clippers, but if it has to happen, I'd prefer it result in a lot of pissed of Laker fans.

I can't wait until next season when the Clippers hit a rough patch and some writers says CP referenced this offseason to call Deandre mentally weak.
