I misread it as he DID change his mind and is going back to LAC. Was freaking out.

I don't see any way he goes back, even though it would probably be the right move for him. I think the Clippers have added enough role players that they could legitimately win a title this season if they brought back DJ.

wonder what the chances are that he reverses his decision?

Jordan’s worried about Blake Griffin leaving in two years? Dude. J.J. Barea was just playing 30 minutes per game in the playoffs.

I like how he conveniently leaves out why that happened. Never mind that they were able to swing and win the Finals by starting one JJB vs the mighty Miami Heat.

@BobbyMarks42: Like baseball there are certain "unwritten rules" and this is a big violation of it. Once a player commits to another team you move on.

if he hadn't acted like such a bitch it might have worked.

when he actually tried hard and ran the offense it wasn't awful.

problem was the shithead thinks he knows better than everyone else and kept veering off into doing his own thing.

sucks that had they waited bit longer they probably could have gotten Dragic instead.

anyway, the point is JJB running point for 30 min a game isn't the norm and sans injuries won't happen next year.

You guys gave up SO MUCH in that trade though, just for the offense to not be awful. If i remember correctly, the Mavs had the league most efficient offense in the league before that trade happened. shite head or not, just an awful awful trade.

As a pelicans fan, I sort of feel bad. And will for sure if Deandre goes back to LA.

This would be really shitty of Jordan if he backed out of the deal with Dallas.

They knew the offense would not be as efficient. He was brought in to help shore up the defense b/c Jameer Nelson can't guard a wet paper sack.

When I say not awful, I mean the fit as a whole. There were several moments when it looked like he might be able to work out. He seemed to be finally figuring things out heading into the playoffs. Unfortunately, he decided he knew better and quit on the team b/c he was butthurt he wasn't allowed to do whatever the hell he wanted.

Probably not. He used to be one of my favorite players, but he has been terrible since he got hurt

Yeah it will be whom exactly? Devin Harris or Jeremy Lin?

Which didn't make sense because he hasn't been a good defender since his injury

Meh I think everyone who is a fan of other WC teams should want DAJ to stay with Dallas.

Makes the Clippers significantly worse and doesn't make the Mavs really any better
