Maybe the Pacers would go after Green, but I don't see it. Dude wasn't very good when he was there. He has a ton of talent, but his shot selection at times is abysmal, especially for a guy who has been in the league a while.

Also, nothing new on the Karl-Cousins soap opera. Are the Kings really going to let Karl coach this team after his insistence on trading their star?

Yeah you may have to take next year's thread

I still need to update the OP on this one but I don't think anyone even looks at it at this point

I always see that gif. Am I supposed to be impressed by a running back dominating one of the worst run defenses in college football? A huge sluggish running back running over a safety just doesn't impress me that much

I take it you didn't see the Florida game

Thankfully he is like the only major FA next summer. Hopefully while everyone is distracted by KD we can quietly bring back Conley without maxing him out

Your suggestion would be what? Fire him and bring in an 8th coach for Cousins?

I mean he did basically lie to the Kings owner. Said he wanted the job to work with Boogie.

Why else would he have wanted the job? Please post in the form of a tweet.

Yea next year will be a fricking circus regarding Kevin, but there's hardly anyone else out there. This year and 2017 are stacked FA classes.

I think the 2nd most notable FA next year will be a 31 year old Noah. Yikes.

Because he wanted a job

You don't take a job because you want to coach a player then try to ship out the franchise player 2 months later

Unless this was a plan by LeBron to get all of his friends overpaid by Dan Gilbert before bailing again....

A Hater's Take on DeAndre Jordan in Dallas

quote:

Look at what the Spurs have done to build around Tim Duncan over the past five years. They’ve drafted smart, they’ve developed castoffs into affordable role players, and they’ve stayed flexible. Now imagine the opposite of that. That’s how the Mavericks have been building around Dirk Nowitzki.

They’ve drafted nobody, they’ve paid role players (Parsons and Wes Matthews) like stars, and their actual role players are a disaster. Jordan’s worried about Blake Griffin leaving in two years? Dude. J.J. Barea was just playing 30 minutes per game in the playoffs.

They put all their eggs in the Dwight/CP3 basket, at the expense of a repeat championship attempt in 2012, and they've only been able to pick up scraps in FA.

But hey, they really stuck it to Houston by overpaying Parsons!

Came here to post that. Seems odd after all the CP3/DAJ stuff started coming out since then.
