Goaltending call was correct. But SMU shouldn't have allowed this game to fall apart like that.

Not if the ball wasn't above the rim. Ball would've had to be in the cylinder.

The broadcast call was Twilight Zone. Total confusion. No emotion. Didn't sound like the fans knew what was going on either.

Not sure, it was a close call but you can't get up there and take any chance of giving them a free three to beat you. You have to have more awareness than that. The SMU player made a terrible mistake and it is going to send his team home.
