THEN DONT WATCH

You dumbasses sit here and type out how “unwatchable” the Thunder are and then proceed to watch them anyway so you can come on here and cry about it.

Take your tampon out, get the frick over it and pick up a hobby if you really care so much about someone falling to the ground in a contact sport.

So just because someone doesn’t have ankle issues means he’s not allowed to fall to prevent said initial ankle injury from occurring?

Yeah they’ve been trying to get under his feet all series. Castle finally got called for it last night.

I don't want to watch the Thunder. I want to watch the NBA playoffs...like I've done my whole life.

These fricks just infiltrate it. Trust me, if the Thunder weren't playing, I'd still be watching these games.

The whole "if they're unwatchable, why are you watching" argument is one of the dumbest fricking arguments ever for a playoff game. Regular season, sure.

The sad thing is OKC doesn't need to flop and bitch to refs to be good...they're a good team with young talented players but their playstyle is beyond infuriating.

I don’t know how to break this to you, but this isn’t the first series where he’s falling all over the place.

He kicks his feet out to initiate the contact.

You are correct though…his IQ for flopping is off the charts incredible.

Yes this discourse definitely only takes place on Tigerdroppings dot com and absolutely nowhere else on the web

Playing good defense, utilizing midrange, moving the ball, being unselfish. Yeah it’s the worst.

Shai was being double and triple teamed all night and had 12 assists. People saying that’s hard to watch just don’t make any sense.

Then don’t.

Maybe you’ll learn to start doing something productive with your life instead of coming on here acting like a bitch crying about a basketball player falling on the ground.

SGA and the Oklahoma City Thunder are not going to just stop playing their style of basketball to appease saintsfan92612.

I’m not the one dedicating my life to point out how many times a grown man playing basketball is fouled and/or falls in a game.

The hate OKC gets will go down as one of the most overblown, histrionic reactions to a sports team in modern sports history.

This proves you don’t watch them. You would know they rarely complain to refs. Head coach in interviews never complains about refs. Its part if what Presti has built and wants - just play and don’t complain.

In the last series Caruso got a tech for saying something to ref from the bench. Mark looked at him and said “let me handle the refs”. The coach will work refs during the game (selectively) but never once has he complained about them afterwards. And you won't find one player post game to complain.

Contrast that to other head coaches and players. Its a team narrative to not complain. Which by your statement proves you never or rarely watch them. You’ve joined the tiktok and twitter brigade pushing a false narrative mostly by non-playing click chasers. If you listen to most ex-players they have nothing but good to say about SGA.

But its actually funny to see all the people post about it.

How are they credible when we have the incels from MSB/Reddit/Twitter telling us otherwise?

Embiid is one of the biggest flopping Centers of all time.

I wouldn’t want to use him as any type of example to defend SGA, although there are some soft similarities.

Hyperbole much? Dedicating one’s life? Dude…internet types pull up stats every year on stuff. And while you aren’t dedicating your life to it, you are dedicating a shitload of time knighting for your dude.

No. OKC hasn’t unlocked that status yet. Now you are giving them too much credit.

What are you talking about? If there’s one thing I’ve learned this postseason, these Oklahoma guys are God’s gift to basketball. I’ve learned how flopping is a strategy to avoid injury, started by a well-known, honest ballplayer named Joel Embiid. We know that Shai is probably the greatest midrange player in the history of the game. Mark handles the refs better than any coach in NBA history. We’ve discussed physics in terms of stress on a player’s legs upon landing on the hardwood surfaces across the league.

Honestly, I never knew basketball prior to this, and I’m pretty sure the guy’s playing didn’t either. At first I thought I wasn’t entertained, but then I realized that falling forward like JFK after every 15 footer was so pleasing to watch, and a style that the entire league should embrace…all in the name of safety. shite, next time I jump across a rain puddle I think I’m going to tuck and roll to save the stress on my bones.

And now you know why. Things people think are flops are strategic falling. It’s sports biometrics, not everything is a foul hunting flop.

These guys are getting paid hundreds of millions of dollars to play a physical game, it’s in their financial interest to stay healthy.

Let this new knowledge enhance your basketball viewing experience. Now when you see a guy fall after a shot, your first instinct won’t be so negative.

You should go back to the first few pages of last night’s game thread. Lots ball knowers there.
