It shouldn't, but it does.

I disagree. Kid played through rain, high winds and a language barrier. It is a judgment call and poor judgment was used, IMO.

He just interviewed like a champ though.

Wish I had seen it. Kid is very impressive.

This is the Masters. Everyone doesn't get a trophy.

That kid handles post round interviews better than Tiger though.

Has nothing to do with taking longer than 50 seconds to hit a shot while on the clock.

I disagree that rules are rules. This hasn't been enforced in NINE years at a major. Are you telling me this kid plays slower than Na and Simpson? No way. Crenshaw shooting about 12 over today is what slowed the group

The kid is pretty mature, ain't he?

IMHO the people at Augusta national went I to this week wanting to take a stand on slow play. I have a feeling that they knew that they were going to pop somebody this week for slow play. Just so happened it happened to be the kid and he happened to be on the cut line. fricking sucks.

After watching that interview I think China is lying about that kids age. He was more mature about the situation than Garcia and Tiger would have ever been.

I feel bad that he might miss the cut because of that, but I don't blame the official for making that call. it's all on the kid.

The kid sounds pretty fluent in English. And I'm pretty sure I heard him speaking English to his caddie

They just said Steve Lowery got one at the 2004 PGA. Regardless, it doesn't matter if it has never been called before.

This is completely false. This rule has not been enforced at all. The tour wanted to make an example for slow play and they did. It's a shame. Like I said earlier, it's been over nine years since this was called in a major and over 18 years since it was enforced on the PGA tour

Isn't he using a local caddie. I would think discussing the shot with a local, English speaking caddie has an effect on the speed of his play. As does playing through an hour of rain. This is a rule to be used in only extreme situations and is so rarely enforced, that its application here seems unfair.
