Been in VTSAX for years. Any reason for me to switch over to VOO now?

Switch your funds in VTSAX to VOO or new money to VOO? I wouldn't necesarily switch, but going VOO for new money is always a good option. They're really similar at about 80%, just VTSAX tracks total SM. Last 5 years you missed roughly 2% annual. Over 10 years it's only .5% annually. Obviously that all adds up.

Is that what you would recommend for a brokerage account saving on my own? I was going VGT for a while then started buy some stocks but want to get back to just buying something when I get extra cash.
I’ve got international, S&P and my company stock in 401k. Dram and VGT in my little brokerage along with a few of the stocks from the money board.

I have some VOO, but I’m a little more risk adverse, and with the MAG7 making up 35% of the S&P500, I prefer VTI and VONE for more diversification. VONE has been the best of those three YTD. I also have VTV as well.

I bought the chit out of VGT during Covid.
Needless to say…
Lovely.

VOO is a MT favorite. VGT has obviously done very well for a while now. I have some too. But VOO is a little more conservative if you want to also have that in your portfolio.

VTI - Total US Stock
VXUS - Total International Stock Ex-US
BND - Total US Bond
Since I will be drawing from my Trad IRA for the first time, I've added a couple income related funds, not Vanguard though.
SCHO - Schwab Short Term US Treasuries
SCHD - Schwab US Dividend (this is held in Taxable since most of the dividends should be Qualified and should be taxed for the most part as Long Term Gains)
I don't speculate often and try to keep my investments simple but I think shortening my duration in fixed income can't hurt.
