Yes. No one is buying it against their will. I've seen no promises of great riches. Everyone and everything else has a coin. How is it worse than DOGE? Seriously. Honest question.

When there is insider buying and selling like this coin had, then yes, it is a scam. That's the whole point of memecoins. Everyone knows they are scams. It's just whether you can get in and out in time.

As the man said in his address today:

quote:

As we gather today, our government confronts a crisis of trust. For many years, a radical and corrupt establishment has extracted power and wealth from our citizens

Trump and other insiders extracted wealth from citizens. The only difference is that this was out in the open. I'll at least give him credit for doing it so openly and brazenly.

It's only worse than DOGE because Trump and co are personally profiting off of it. Both are stupid and terrible.

Some of you would willingly donate your organs needed to function properly if Trump asked you to.

The man's LLC owned 80% of the coins before launch. It's a freaking rug pull.

If you say so. I thought everyone knew these were money grabs with a few hoping they catch one that takes off.

It’s sad that Trump is doing crypto. He’s just faking being a conservative. Everyone I’ve ever known irl and on this board that did crypto is a libtard that doesn’t want to work a real job. Especially this board

Doge wasn't created and structured to be a rug pull. It was created as a joke before the meme coin space existed. It took years and years and Elon commentary to make it take off.

This trump coin is pure grift and it was intentionally structured for that purpose. The same people who are getting their 20x matches for patriot donations via text, are probably getting had by the rug pull. But I don't necessarily think it's criminal. Morons get had everyday.

It makes me lose a little respect for trump I guess, but not really in a way, because I never thought at any point, he didn't have grifting in his soul. I don't think you can separate the man from it. So I guess it didn't really change my opinion, just solidified it.

The morons who lose money on it, are morons, probably a little wiser now than a week ago. Good for them.

For a grifter, he sure does do a lot of free work for people.

Don't get me wrong, I voted for trump, and I would vote for him again. You don't have to be delusional to see the benefit of Trump vs alternative. There is some daylight between divine savior and fascist criminal dictator. It's not all or nothing.

You think the Bidens weren't grifters? The Bush's? The Obamas?

It's not that radical, at least trump grifts right in your face.

Please don’t bring up bush in this crypto conversation as he was the opposite of crypto. A star athlete, not a computer nerd. A war hero, not a terrorist (crypto is used to fund terrorism). A self made oilfield baw, not an email job tech wuss

It’s no wonder Al quaeda waited til bush was gone to release Bitcoin when we had a Muslim president

It's a fact that his LLC owned 80% of the coins. A small cadre of people have perhaps turned into literal billionaires off the backs of the people they supposedly represent/support.

Did he sell any? Shouldn't we wait and see if it's a full blown rug pull? I made $350k off DWAC initial blowup, but I knew it could go to shite at anytime. Got lucky. I've made good money trading DJT. Is this not the same? Not being obtuse, but people need to learn the difference between investing and gambling.

I have zero issue with it unless he was pumping it as a sure thing. The left and media have done all they can do to destroy his company and wealth. They've tried to bury him with legal fees. If I bought his coin, I'd look at it as a gift to the Don and a scratch off play.

I mean, who dafuq thought Hawk Tuah coin was going to be the next bitcoin?
