I think the gist is they take the outstanding shares and subtract the borrowed shares to show the short interest. Then they divide it by the average trade volume to show how many days it would take shorts to buy back the available outstanding shares to predict the next MOAS.

I told myself I was done buying but picked up a few more at $6.29. We'll see if I pulled the trigger too early...

I picked up 250 share at $6.50. Have a buy order in for 750 at $6.00. Would rather it go up from here though!

Can anyone decipher this? I'm not familiar with shorting stocks
Short interest is reported on OTC stocks every 2 weeks i believe.
Where as it is reported on common stocks every few days.
This means we are in the blind most of the time.
I would be surprised if we dont get hit hard but I sold 1/3 of my shares at $4.61 so what do i know.

Bounced hard off of $6, really hope that's our floor through this drama.
Also hope those shorts get burned by a nice PR release by the 16th.

yeah - this last two day drop shook me a little and forced minor profit taking. This has just become some outsized in my portfolio and watching it drop became too much (NBIS scars from the fall). Still hold over 82K in shares but now the worse I can possibly do on the investment is $110K in profit.
No change in conviction - but close to a change in wife if I let that ride completely lol

I don't blame you. I have been feeling a bit of the same. Once we shot up to $8, I told myself I was done buying. But I couldn't resist a few more in the low 6s. I think once the next announcement comes, we'll hit double digits and then I'm for sure done buying. I think.
The fact that NBIS got a nice bump on news has eased the pain a little.

we were at $5.20 only 5 days ago.

Question: How much is the Iran war news effecting price and helping shorts?

quote:Yes, big picture we are doing great. I haven't sold a single share and don't intend to anytime soon. I'll probably keep buying a little longer, awaiting that first contract. Once that happens, we'll be off to the races and I will simply hold.

But this is still a big risk. They have met all the goals they've set forth so I don't have reason to doubt the HG team. The thing that gives me the most doubt isn't the HG team or the company, but I just can't envision how there will be enough of a demand for graphene (especially pure graphene) that will make this a triple digit stock. Obviously I want to be wrong and I've bet a lot of money (for me) on it.

And I still hold 82,000 shares lol. Trust me still vested with conviction.

Anyone have shares that are still loaned out? Mine were returned a few days ago.
