ETrade is struggling right now or they're purposely doing it to slow trades down
The website itself is having issues

Yeah I was going ot say, etrade is crawling/failing right and left. Etrade is a big broker and has been around a long time, there's no way this should happen

I cracked and bought 4 @ 244.80. Looks like I will be going down with the retards as well. For a good cause at least.

Volume of less than 15 mil on GME, they are just slowly choking it off. AMC v over 215 mil for comparison, such BS.
Maybe AMC is the honeypot to recoup their losses.

Redditors are claiming the drop is just a ladder attack. Can someone explain what a ladder attack is?

Rapid fire buying & selling to make it appear the price is steadily dropping and a selloff is imminent

Disclaimer: I have no fricking clue.

The big hedge funds are just putting in lower and lower bid prices between themselves. There is little to no volume on those trades, and since no one can buy it “looks” like the stock is plummeting.

The neighbor puts a For Sale sign on his Camaro. Imagine you and a couple buddies wanted to buy it. He says he wants $6,000. Your buddy says to you loudly, “How about $4K and I just sell you mine?” You say sure! (But you don’t actually buy). Next day, you approach your other buddy and say loud enough for the neighbor to hear, “Aww man, Camaros are shite.. can you take this off my hands for $3K?” He grudgingly agrees, but no cars change hands. Two days later you approach your neighbor and say, “$6K.. man, that’s crazy. One just sold for $3K. How about $2500?” He heard the other sales numbers and thinks, “maybe this isn’t worth what I thought it was.” And boom! You convinced that dumb neighbor his tendies were stale.

They may not have just one. These are big players. I find it really concerning AMC isn't getting the GME treatment, at least to the same extent. It is like they are doing enough to make you think they don't want you to invest in AMC yet volume trading is still massive.

I've noticed it as well. Seems to have gotten better.

I think it’s just sheer volume of traffic on the site and apps.
I haven’t had any problems buying, selling, or transferring money in or out of E*TRADE. Just long load times here and there

I bet there's a late day surge that gets this over $300 by EOD again, and we start this game all over tomorrow.
The concern now is that people are starting to get bored, which is exactly what they want.

we're rallying right now. They'll halt soon I'm sure.

Bored and without that “payoff” or :rocket: that everyone was promised on Wednesday, no Friday, no wait it’s Monday, I mean Wednesday this week.
It may moonshot, but it’s lost incredible momentum, not to mention now the split offs to 4-5 different equities (AMC, NOK, BB, AG, etc)

Schwab was telling me earlier that I didn't actually have the shares of GME or AMC to set a sell limit order.

Looks like the dip could be over. It didn't hit my targets for buy, and I'm betting there were plenty others. It wouldn't surprise me if people start to lose patience and start buying at lunch.

Aside from getting the clearing houses to up the collateral reqs, this has been by far their most successful play.
Wsb went from 90% in on gme to like 50% gme 50% other memes.
