They walked it down from ~$470 to ~$120. Looking at the chart you can actually see the “steps”. I’m curious why they didn’t go further and end it today.

Possibilities are that they didn’t have the shares to do it or that doing it would be so obvious that it would cause a massive shitstorm.

As it stands, it is already creating a shitstorm and it will only worsen tomorrow.

Yes.

It’s going to be bad tomorrow but the question is whether the hedge funds commit seppuku, the retail investors burn shite to the ground, or the entire system comes to a halt.

DFV took a lot of profits. His cash alone is $13M. He’s playing it correctly like everyone else should be. Cover yourselves in case of collapse

We are on the precipice. That other thread about 30 seconds to nukes is um a bit frightening.

The high sells have apparently been market sells for the most part. I have 1.5k sell limits in place and nothing has sold

If we were that close to it, the shorters should have bitten the bullet and taken the losses.

They are the cop from Bad Lieutenant continually doubling down on his losses on baseball thinking that the Mets couldn’t come back from an 0-3 deficit.

It just makes his situation spiral more and more out of control.
