Wish Net Worth would show shorter intervals on mobile. I liked how Mint would give 7 day or 30 day rolling changes. Otherwise, I’m enjoying Monarch. Does what I need it to do glad to have a solution before Mint goes away.

I personally switched to https://copilot.money and am really impressed by their slick interface. I'm on a two-month free trial. Let me know if anybody wants a referral. Pleasantly surprised thus far.

What’s everyone’s experience been?
I’m trying copilot right now and debating on whether I should give Monarch a shot

I was already leaning toward sticking with Simplifi, and I’ve ultimately deciddd to cancel Monarch after the trial period. I wouldn’t say that I’m blown away by either product, especially given the cost, which tilts in Simplifi’s favor.
I mostly used Mint as a transaction aggregator + dashboard of balances and net worth across all accounts at a glance. I’ve found that Simplifi presents monthly budget info in a slightly more usable way for my manual spreadsheet inputs. I also prefer Simplifi’s more timely update of account balances and transactions. I didn’t find any substantial/persistent account connectivity issues with either service. I was concerned about reports of Simplifi sluggishness after adding historical Mint data, but this hasn’t been an issue.
Where Monarch was really tempting was the Mint transfer functionality (which I didn’t ultimately use) and the lip service paid to ‘budgeting for couples’. That was ultimately a letdown as it boiled down to separate logins for essentially the same account.
What would have been a killer feature would be the ability to present and customize an individual + joint account/budget/transaction view, for each partner. For example, designating certain accounts as joint, with only those transactions flowing to the joint transaction feed and budget. I would revisit my choice down the road if they added something like this.

Looking like I’ll go with Monarch. I do most everything from the app in Mint, and Monarch appears to have a good app user interface. It also looks like it did everything for NW and budgeting that Mint did. The 50% off and mint import are nice sells for me. $50 for the year isn’t bad for what it’s doing for me

Monarch has been solid. I kind of wish I had waited to transfer everything now as it’s got WAY better transfer capabilities than when I made the move. They launched a new chrome extension that moves over daily historical balances. It would make my net worth history a lot better than the workaround I did a month or so ago. However, tool is easily worth $50 for the first year. I haven’t even used Mint since transitioning.

Ya I read that too. Not sure it would have made too much a difference as my Mint net worth had some mistakes I had to manually fix anyway.
So far it's doing OK. Some hiccups still with aggregation/missing transactions but I'm figuring out how to be patient and not immediately set up a new aggregation method, etc.

Do y’all need something like this to keep yalls wives under control? Why not just take away her card or something?

These aggregators are about being informed on where money is going and how behaviors drive net worth and cash flow.

Some of us have wives that make a lot of money and our financial life is more sophisticated than your single checking account that is almost empty.

Has anyone switched over to Credit Karma through the mint website ?
Posted on 12/17/23 at 9:07 am to saderade
I have not…but I haven’t gotten an “invite” and already have a Credit Karma account.
Posted on 12/17/23 at 11:58 am to saderade
I’ve heard negative things about the switch to Credit Karma. Also, apparently you lose access to Mint once you transition to CK.

I've switched over and it's fine for what I want. The main thing is I want all my transactions in one spot so I can monitor them and it does that

I’m torn between monarch and copilot
Having issues with both getting all of my account onboarded.
Copilot seemed easier to get set up but there’s no place to put other assets that aren’t attached to l am online account to get a true net worth calc. (Ex -vehicles that are paid off with a KBB estimated value)
Monarch seems like the better designed UI\UX but struggling to get more of my accounts connected and synced

Finally got the invite to switch to CK. Mint access continuing until late March. Once you convert, they shut off your Mint profile.

I haven’t had any issues with Monarch so far. Haven’t transferred all my Mint data yet, but the account syncs have been pretty easy, similar to Mint. Monarch automatically does KBB on your VIN for vehicles, which is really nice. If it updates over time automatically I’ll be really happy about that. I also had an issue with a loan showing up as an increase on my net worth instead of a liability, and Monarch gave me the ability to invert it to account as a liability

Quicken Simplifi is offering a free one year trial to Mint customers. To claim the offer of one free year, your Mint data must be imported within 3 months of sign-up date. Upon expiration of the trial period, whether 3 months or 12 months, the annual billing period will begin and the billing method on file will be charged at the then-current rates, unless you cancel your plan before the trial expires.
