I don’t think any of us are going to help you push the false narrative that crypto is good for criminals and terrorist. How about you avoid making assumptions and look into how transparent Bitcoin is. Millions of people launder fiat worldwide. Using a public ledger blockchain makes that more difficult. If you are an accountant for a CIA friendly drug cartel then you even have direct access to several banks present in the US. https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.theguardian.com/world/2011/apr/03/us-bank-mexico-drug-gangs

Still falling...
So what happens when Ven is bought on binance right now, does it automatically convert to the new coin? Or is it one of those things where it’ll be worthless, if not actively exchanged by a deadline.
Still trying to understand why price would be falling so drastically if there is an improvement in the works.

Yes it will be automatically converted. They will freeze transactions on 22 JUL.

I just bought my first fraction of a bitcoin on Robinhood.

So, no wallets/transfers, etc. directly in binance?
Also, why is pricing suffering if it is an upgrade? I realize the whole “market” is taking a beating, but it just seems odd.

There's something odd going on.. Bitcoin hasn't moved in 3 days, which is normally a green light for altcoins, but instead everything is getting destroyed
Have a feeling we might be seeing a manipulated market exit by some big timers

Crypto sure does bring out the worst in paranoia. My mind has traveled to far away places while being in this game.

The whole “market” is a completely manipulated. I thought that was an accepted fact?

Absolutely devastating Congressional Hearing last week on crypto. They will do everything to prop up fiat and suppress any sort of digital currency. They went as far as suggesting that potentially the use case would be a central bank issued digital currency that the federal reserve would have absolute control over the destruction and creation of the coins completely disintermediating private banks! Here’s the testimony for you to listen to...

Why do you think this is devastating in the least bit? How would the central bank issuing a digital currency disintermediate private banks?

CBDC would create a monopoly on currency including the issuance of credit and loans at the federal bank. Payment for all goods and services would reside in that singular government entity.

Currency is already regulated by the government. private banks are going to continue to conduct business, but they may have to deal with more gov BS.

It’s obvious you haven’t bothered to listen to the hearing or read any of the written testimony. You are ignorant.
