Going to be tough to find someone who had a successful experience lately. I bought in December and paid sticker on a Laramie 4x4. Felt like a chump, but was mostly relieved I was able to wait out the 10k markups.

I am reading Dodge Ram has the most inventory out of all the trucks at present, like months supply so this is actually as good as you're going to get. Depending on your area I'd just play 3 dealerships against each other. Just make sure they have different ownership.

They have the best prices. People from out of state buy here and have the truck shipped and still come out cheaper than buying local. When I bought in 2021 they were the best price by far.

Report back when you seal the deal. Curious to see how it goes. I've seen several of us that are trying to gauge when the right time to buy is.

Aren’t they already offering factory rebates + 1.9% through Chrysler Capital? I wouldn’t expect them to budge.

They are currently offering 10% below MSRP on Laramie models with 2.9% for 72 months.

Regardless, always negotiate, it's all money back into your pocket.

In Houston, it's either the 10% savings or the 2.9% financing. And the offer is only good for Laramie 2WD models.

Ralph Sellers in Gonzales has a standard $6k off MSRP, even for a new build. Had great experience with them.

Ram is advertising discounts on every commercial I see. So is Ford and Chevy.

umm no they don't. Dealers get rebates from manufacturers when they hit certain sales quotas and goals. Some dealers are willing to cut to the bone more just to get the volume bonus at the end of the month.

Got a Bighorn 4x4 from Lake Charles. I had priced dealers in Houston, Baton Rouge, New Orleans, Jackson, Birmingham, Chattanooga, and Atlanta. Only one in Atlanta was competitive with Lake Charles.

They say I got 11k off...I wasn't successful in any further reduction.

For trade-in, I just sent pics of my old ride, with VIN and odometer. They offered 1k under KBB trade in. I got them to meet me in the middle, so got $500 more.

Overall, I was pleased with the experience (as pleased as I can be paying stupid money for a truck).

Mark Dodge don’t play! They’re doing the volume thing to get the monthly/quarterly kickback from the manufacturer.

Watched a YouTube video about this from Car Edge. They indicated that in addition to the manufacturer 10% rebate, you should be able to get up to an additional 5-10% from the dealer, especially in areas that have > 100 days supply.
