Sometimes trying to make sense out of daily moves ends up being a complete waste of time.
The market does funky things & there are institutions out there that are trying to take retail money who think they’ve figured this crazy market out only to get humbled.
ETA: It could end the day at $124 and nobody here would be shocked.

For the option traders, I get it. But caveat emptor there.
I am both. I own the stocks and sell the calls.
In the end, this type of trading will be my income.

Isn't selling calls a bearish play? Or you talking about covered calls I guess?

I thought about selling my friday 125 C this morning for 15% to get out from under it but the what-if's always win. I'll get the hang of this options stuff in 5 or 10 years hopefully.

I don’t trust any of the major players in the market and am sure they manipulate everything. We’re on the side of GS and BOA with their stock warrants though so I like that position.

It’s a good way to capitalize on an over extended move.

Man I bought some NEBX 2x leveraged NBIS ETF today…that was a mistake.
Should go hard and buy calls on NEBX

It was explained to me somewhere in this thread that this is the choice between degen gambler and take the money and run that options often present.
Props to whomever that was as it stuck with me.

I have 700 shares, thinking of writing puts rather than buy more.

If you want to own more, that's a heck of a way to lower the price.
You can sell the 100 strike for next week at $105

Let's stay for one more...
Since I'm looking at the intercoastal waterway, this is an Intercoastal IPA.
