This thread is going to be lit tomorrow morning. I’m really curious to see what if any impact the shorts have. If it was me I would wait for pricing to settle if I needed to exit and take my whooping.

They won’t have a choice….if you’re short on something like this, you will rushing to cover. They will be buying on opening like their life depends on it.
Like I mentioned last week, they will have to clear, just a matter of when people “try to take a profit” to give them their shares. If serious investors hold for what this valuation could be, it will sky rocket.
I think we get a mixed reaction, which is why I say $110 is possible with then a pullback
But then with shorts out of the way (more will come and probably keep it around 8-9M by midday) it could pull back some after the initial craziness…but then will climb each day for the next couple weeks

Only 1 day to cover. Not much of a short squeeze potential.

It’s been shorted to hell and back last week or so. I did not realize this.
Oh man. This is too great

What does that mean?
They’ll have to all buy back well above the price at which they borrowed.
This action will add fuel to the fire.
We’re talking about nearly 16 million total shares that need to be bought back.
That’s not an insignificant amount when you consider the rather low float.
It could get quite fun for us longs.
I’d love to see more try to short it at $110 and above. Then continually squeeze it higher throughout the day as they scramble back to safety.
This is a dream scenario, but it could play out.
I’m gonna try to sleep too.
Much love to all longs.

Days to cover less than 2. That’s what matters re: short squeeze potential.
All shorts could cover in a day or so if needed. Plenty of volume in this name.

Are we not thinking it'll go up? I'm ok with a long term hold. I didn't invest a huge sum
I'm holding.
More deals coming.
Industry changing announcement coming.
Avride/Uber ramping up.
Q3 earnings coming up
Clickhouse IPO possible
All of these events are going to keep NBIS in the news and could drive prices higher. This could be like the CRWV run, but with enough good news in the pipeline to justify the run up.
One of the criticisms of Nebius is that the probability that they would have to take on tóo much debt in order to scale up, but this deal is going to ease those concerns. It also gives NBIS instant street cred as far as future mega deals go. Having NVDA's backing as a vendor was huge, but having MSFT as a multi-billion dollar client is a game changer.
This is all just my opinion, and the market has a way of proving me wrong as often as not...

What new long call positions are y'all planning on opening today? Even though IV is likely going to be low, I'm wondering about selling some at-the-money or close-to-the money puts and not worrying about getting assigned.
As for long calls, however, what are y'all thinking in terms of strike price and expiry?

After sleeping on it, I will be unloading all my calls today sometime in the first few minutes or hour, depending on what I’m seeing.
I will then be looking to buy back November calls in the 130-150 range on a dip at some point in the day
If this gets to $110, which I believe it will, and just sticks around, I will still sell of my $85 9/12 and $82 9/26 calls, but keep my $70 11/25 calls and that’ll be that. I will then take my profits, look to get my 2500 shares to 3500 shares and add more November calls at $130 strike price

No, not a chance in hell unless it comes out the MS deal was miscalculated and only worth $1.74M over the next 5 years

I’m only holding 100ish shares… which I bought more. I’m tempted to sell, take some profits and try and rebuy at a lower price. I tend to always miss the spikes in price or get cold feet when I go to click sell. What price are y’all selling and hoping to rebuy at?
