You only have so much time in life. Finite!
It’s more precious than anything they think they learn by spending it watching a stock market (ephemeral one) each day / intra day.

How you trade your time, I think, is far more valuable!

Invest for the long. Go play with your kids, cards with your elderly parents, hike in a state park, listen to James Brown music, drink coffees with an old friend.

The NPV of your time is infinite.

Don’t waste it.

The stock market is a measure of inflation and trump likes it when the stock market goes up

Well, well, well…now complete the thinking path to stock market returns > currency debasement.

What drives stock market returns?

Inflation
Real economic growth
Dividend yield
Changes in valuation

Margin (significant) over currency debasement via 3 of those SOBs. It’s right there. Complete the path.

Millenials rejoice!

I did this today. Wrote put spread LEAPS on some Mag7s. Dec 2028.

I won’t make a ton quickly, but I should make a ton within 2 1/2 years. I can wait.

I hear ya. Almost did just past a year for tax purposes but I wanted a longer timeline in case there is a recession given the Iran situation and other factors.

I’m much more conservative now. I will do short term (as short as same day) put spreads or condors if conditions are right.

Finished the day up 10%

I was all calls in OUST.
They popped this morning, sold them, bought a lot of shares, and it stayed mostly green.
Made a good QQQ PUT hedge or two.
That’s the ball game!

VG looks like it's ready to pop tomorrow. Wish I had got in this afternoon. Expecting a test of 15$ sooner than later. Nice area of support around 12.80, so pretty low risk trade with a stop at around 4%.

Lots of short ETFs now showing up on my screeners, normally not a good sign for bulls.

IMO he’s trying to keep oil prices down.

Agree. The oil market seems way more volatile than it used to be. One mention of a rocket fired, and that green arrow shoots up immediately. One mention of a ceasefire or one tanker of oil makes it through the strait, and that red arrow shoots down.

Maybe it’s always been that volatile and I just didn’t always pay attention to the by the hour pricing?

Why is it green? Is Trump trying to get suckers to put more in so he can crash the market for his israel money this afternoon?
