Is Beta Gamma Sigma no longer active at LSUS? I remember seeing information on them here, but I don't see them on the list of Honors Societies on the LSUS website. Has anyone been invited in the past year?

Anybody else in ACCT 701 have technical problems with Assessments, particularly with long answers in drop down lists being cut off? On one Assessment I zoomed out to see the full answer and it broke the test. I couldn't zoom back in, so I couldn't tell the difference between a 4 and 0 for the rest of the test, much less see if the little button next to my answer was selected. Very frustrated with this class.

Are you using Chrome as your browser for ACCT 701 assessments? When I've had similar technical issues in the past it was a result of using browsers that aren't fully compatible with Moodle.

I am using the latest version of Chrome. This is my seventh class in the MBA program, so I'm pretty comfortable with the technology.

Yep! Three weeks to go! I can almost taste it. Fighting very hard to keep on top of everything, senior-itis has set in bad. 1 Paper, 4 Exams, 4 Discussion Questions to go for that piece of paper! This week will knock out 66% of the remaining work.

I had issues with the last question. The answers to the definition were cut off and not complete. I am using the Chrome Browser. I missed one of the definitions. I wish I knew which one.

Baroqen - BGS's website shows a LSUS chapter and if you look in Moodle, under MBA Resources, scroll to the bottom and there's a folder for "honor societies". It shows both BGS and Sigma Iota Epsilon. I remember an email in the past that said MBA students who meet the class rank qualifications are invited to join the semester before graduation.

Yes, we can use the book and notes for the final. I believe the only thing we can’t use is the Internet, which I haven’t needed up to this point. The way the final is timed, you will only have roughly 4 minutes per question, so he noted that you won’t have a whole lot of time to be referring back and looking up info in the book.

I had an issue with that as well and I used Chrome. Hopefully that doesn't happen on the exam.
MADM 730 - Menon
For anyone thinking of taking Sanjay Menon for MADM 730 it is not an easy course. The test covers A LOT of content and is definition heavy. Of course it is a MADM course so it is very heavy on the writing and reading. If I were to do this over I would take it with a super easy class like Lin (ISDS 705).

Really frustrated with ACCT 701. I have bombed the last 2 assessments. I thought I knew the material this week but scored a 66. I don't like "trickery" when it comes to exams. Teach me the material and test me on what you taught, how you taught it. Not feeling confident about this course.

@marek76 i feel you on the senioritis. Except mine set in a term too soon haha! Just need to make it through my last 2 classes in AP2 and I can consider this journey complete. Definitely ready to have some worry-free, free time back.

I graduated in Summer AP 1 and there's still no word from any of the official honor societies. I wouldn't hold my breath about being contacted prior to graduation.

Easy A for MADM 760 with Heller? I start this class in 2 weeks. I am about to finished FIN 701 with Dr. Choi and it is very easy.

Currently taking FIN 701 with Choi and I have gotten 100's on everything besides Test 2, I got a 95. Very very easy. Study questions are pretty much the same questions on the tests.

Yes, Choi Daewoung. I have not taken FIN 730 so I can not comment on that but if its the same set up as FIN 701, it should not be a problem to double up. 1 discussion / 1 reply per week, 2 case studies, 3 tests for FIN 701.
