@NSAtoMBA...wish I had seen this sooner! I hadn't heard of the German Christmas market here in Atlanta. I would have loved to attend. My German sister-in-law has helped form my appreciation of all things German! Hope you had a great visit to our city!

@sactown glad to hear someone say that it was worth traveling to attend. I'll be coming in from Atlanta for spring graduation. I can't imagine not attending but it won't be an inexpensive trip.

Satnights...I agree with everyone else. The last week of his class was pretty brutal. It's probably doable but you'll need to plan ahead & set aside time during vacation to get work done.
Congrats @GeauxUF! Will you be attending the commencement ceremony? I'm in Atlanta also. Hope to finish in time for the May 2019 ceremony, which I will be attending.

Lin test 2 - I didn’t get a grade immediately after submitting. Did you guys?
Definitely not doubling up those two courses. I saved them for last on purpose.

The last 2 courses I need to graduate (Mkt 701 & ECON 705) are already full!! I've always been able to register for courses with no problem. Should I panic or do you guys think they'll open more seats?
The workload for MADM 760 (Meeks) has been mind-blowing! And it's just week 2! This is my 8th class in the program and it has been the heaviest workload thus far.

@Tigerchick2018...how does the "C" affect your gpa? I thought that anything below a B wasn't considered passing.

Same here. I scored my first 100!
Really frustrated with ACCT 701. I have bombed the last 2 assessments. I thought I knew the material this week but scored a 66. I don't like "trickery" when it comes to exams. Teach me the material and test me on what you taught, how you taught it. Not feeling confident about this course.
My plan for the next exam is to type out all definitions in the reading in my own words into a Word doc. Then I can pull info from that document, paste into the exam, and reword/rework the definitions as needed.
I wasted a lot of time putting everything into my own words. Hoping by doing it this way, I'll save a little time.

FIN 701 - I had 9 qualitative questions...yikes! Glad the first one is over. Hopefully, I'll be better prepared next exam.
Can anyone answer a question about gpa requirements for the graduate program? I've maintained a 3.0 throughout the program but will end up with a 79 in my current course (FIN 710). Is this going to be an issue since it will lower my gpa below a 3.0? Seems like I read this someplace. I'll be devastated if I had to retake this course.

I'm fairly new to the program (will begin my 3rd course on Monday). My undergrad isn't in business or finance. I didn't bother taking the refresher courses but so far I'm doing just fine. As someone else stated, youtube a few videos on finance 101 if you get lost. Good luck to you!

I wanted to make the leap over to Knotts for MADM 701 along with everyone but I'm seeing this:

I'm seeing that no textbooks are required for MADM 701 & ECON 705. Are textbooks required for any of the courses?

Hey Jeaux Cool, I'm registered for ECON 705 for AP2. Wondering if I should rethink this - it appears to only be offered once a year.
