MEEK760 Folks

Do you find that the synthesis paper directions in Moodle, directions on the template and directions on the video say different things? I finished reading and listening to the video and I was confused.

You will find more detailed information if you search the forum but for ECON: Shaughnessy and FIN: VINES. Neither have proctored test or final exams, however I took them in the summer semester.

I had an issue with that as well and I used Chrome. Hopefully that doesn't happen on the exam.


MADM 730 - Menon

For anyone thinking of taking Sanjay Menon for MADM 730 it is not an easy course. The test covers A LOT of content and is definition heavy. Of course it is a MADM course so it is very heavy on the writing and reading. If I were to do this over I would take it with a super easy class like Lin (ISDS 705).

I agree with what everyone is saying. An email went out today that states starting on 1/1/19 they will offer the seven core classes during every session. That will help out a lot with scheduling classes around each other.

I’m enrolled for Heller in the Fall semester now . It doesn’t look too bad. You can see the assignments when you click on grades link. Looks like 2-3 discussion post a week 150 word minimum, weekly quizzes and 3 “reflection” projects which just look like case analysis. It seems more of a lot of busy work. However, I’ve had James in the past and I don’t consider anything else that difficult/time consuming .

That’s a good pairing. ISDS 705 is fairly easy although I had it with Lin. I have not had MADM yet I take that in Fall AP2 but I hear it’s more writing, so those two together are fine.

Anyone have any insight on MADM 730?

Was it Menon that you had for MKT 730? If so, do you think he is pairable?
