socal, how does the syllabus for the new FIN instructor look? Similar to Hsieh and Vines or more work involved? and in regards to ISDS 705, are all the ungraded assignments he posts on Moodle necessary to do well on the tests or is reading the chapters sufficient?

What Is the deal with the delay on posting grades on the transcript? Anyone have theirs?

Seems like in the past the grades were posted by Tuesday at the latest. Usually Monday afternoon I think. For some reason there's a delay this time.

We need a search function in this forum as well. Most questions about classes are on here already.

There isn't one per forum, but there is one on the main Money Talk page where you can search for whatever. I did notice that grades were updated on our transcripts this morning

I finished 2 classes and got an A in both with effort ....so reading through 177 pages isn't an option for me.

I see a lot of people asking for the ISDS 705 pdf. Is the PDf sufficient? No busy work, only test, got it. Does the new text come with a log in or anything? For instance, with Wiley, the practice is helpful for studying. I'm disciplined enough to study on my own, but does the new text provide the "extra" perks? If not, I won't buy the text as I have the PDF.

From what I've read on here and in Moodle forums, simply using the search function in the textbook will suffice in finding the answers to the exam
