I took MKT 701 (James) and ACCT 701 (Ambrosio) together. Although I received As in both, I would not recommend taking both together. That was a difficult pairing for me, especially working full time. I have taken three courses together and it was fine, so you can gauge that pairing. I had to actually take a break from the program after that pairing.

For a Registered Nurse position, if both people were pushed through to me, I'd interview them both and go from there. I have found that you can be pretty disappointed if you think X school delivers the highest quality students. Some people just have poor work ethic regardless of the fact they may be intellectually smart when it comes to school work.

For nursing, it is widely known that once you have the RN, the BSN is merely leadership classes (no clinicals), so many students are now going this route. In my opinion, as long as the BSN program is accredited I would recommend going to WGU. With that being said, I am also a hiring manager and I have employees who received their BSN from NYU, Columbia, and others from online programs such as WGU and they all start off at the same salary. Now I wouldn't obtain certain degrees from WGU based on accreditation for ex. the MBA is not AACSB accredited. Online programs are what you make of it. I can guarantee you if you poll all of the MBA students at LSUS, some would not recommend the program to others.

Sorry to derail off topic, but I actually work in the healthcare field and felt compelled to chime in.

SoCal-has your wife looked into UTA, WGU, or Capella? All of them are online programs. I did an accelerated BSN back in the day, but I have colleagues that have good things to say about those programs.

I just took the accounting quiz and assessment. No surprises for the quiz...similar to last week. For the assessment, I would suggest saving the math equations for the end as you will have to know the exact formula to solve the problem. It wasn't difficult, but much more time consuming this week as opposed to last.

I'm currently searching for an accounting book I can purchase, because this one is horrible.

Also, I did not review the ppt and did pretty well on the assessment. You can reference it for the formulas.

It varies for each student. I am finishing in five terms (10 months). My job is paying for the entire tuition, so I had to start at the end of 2017 and finish in 2018 due to the amount reimbursed per year.

I took the exam last night. It wasn't bad. As long as you did the mandatory readings (two chapters and an article), you'll do fine. No tricky questions, you just have to understand the concepts.

Ambrosio sent an email out about a week ago stating he would upload the PDF version of the textbook to Moodle. Fall AP1 Dr. Williams had us purchase our textbook from WileyPlus...perhaps she is not using WileyPlus this upcoming semester.

I have five more courses left in the program. I wouldn't have attempted to take three courses if you and others hadn't shared your experience with ISDS 705. It was very manageable; I was even able to go on vacation and stay afloat lol. If all goes well, I'll finish after summer AP1.

Congrats brentb and socal on graduating!! Awesome accomplishment, and I truly appreciate the insight you two have provided in this discussion board.

Finished up MADM 760 and ISDS 705. One more assignment to submit for MADM 720, and I can enjoy my break!

Interesting name you selected for yourself...

Yes, we all attend the same program (LSUS). The MBA program is completely online. The program is flexible. I will finish in 10 months, but I know others that have taken 18 months to 2 years to finish. It's really up to you and how much time you can commit to courses each session.

I think Multis meant 751, because that is the entrepreneur course offered in the program.

I scheduled the first two exams. I won't be taking it until the evening when I get home from work.

Curious to see how this pans out. The material is very broad (as another poster mentions). We shall see...

My coach for MADM 701 had a MBA. I'm not sure how they are selected. He was very consistent and grading was fair.

Neither of my grades have been posted for AP1. How long does it typically take the Registrar to post the final grades?

Hi DC213,

I am also taking MADM 760 for AP2. Could you send me copies of the book/case study as well? My email address is thebrowns0320@gmail.com. Thank you!!

Agreed, the course is not hard just time consuming. The material is interesting, but the instructor does not teach the class. Honestly, it is not a difficult course. You can easily get an A if you devote time to complete the tedious assignments each week.
