I calculated my own grade for MADM 701. Everything is posted, so you can average it out yourself to see what you have.

So I signed up for ProctoU because of ISDS 705, and found out that my other class MADM 720 is also showing as an available test. It is only showing the final exam is an option...no other intel

I am also worried about the proctoring with ISDS 705. I was reading the ProctorU notes and it says instructors may elect to allow notes/book to be used.

Has anyone heard if ISDS 705 will allow this? Also, is everyone electing to use a PDF version of the book or are you buying a hard copy?

robbie, email Dr. Lin and ask him if notes will be allowed. That would be helpful for all of us to know.

Would you guys recommend getting an MBA after undergrad or only doing it after work experience? My degree is not in business, but I would do it to get business education and understanding in order to work in a broader industry.

Email sent, awaiting response. I will update everyone on here with what Dr. Lin says as far as allowing notes/books during proctored tests.

If I double up in the Fall AP 1 term I'll be finished with the program. Only problem is that means doubling up with MADM 701 which I hear is one of the tougher classes. My 3 electives to pick from are Fin 720, MADM 751, and MADM 715. Any input of which of these 3 electives is the least stressful aka easiest class to take?

GET WORK EXPERIENCE FIRST!!!!! You will have a greater understanding/appreciation of the material after work experience.

Rockguy, MADM 751 was a piece of cake. No tests, just group assignments and weekly papers.

Awesome sounds like a winner to me. I have taken a class with Meeks before too and thought it was easy.

Depending on your GMAT score I believe LSUS requires 3 years of work experience after your undergraduate degree to begin the program.... I could be mistaken about this but I think this is still true.

Dr. Lin responded to my email regarding using notes in the proctored tests in ISDS 705. He let me know that students WILL be able to use notes during the tests. Hope this helps.

Does using notes means we can use a PDF of the text and search function?

Robbie, you rock! I just assumed that since Dr. Lin is making us use ProctorU that we wouldn't be able to use any notes during the tests. You thankfully did not assume this.
What is a HUGE relief.

So grateful for this board. The info shared here has been invaluable to me.

Hey guys, I've been going back and forth on whether I should take MADM 760 with Meeks this next term along with ISDS 705. Since 705 is just reading and 3 tests, it makes me feel like there'd be enough time for 760. And I've heard Meeks is not to demanding.

Any opinions on what I should choose would be appreciated. Thanks.
