Does anyone know how the degree comes in the mail? Is it just the diploma or does it come enclosed it something? How long does it take to receive the degree after conferral date? Thanks

I highly doubt AACSB is going away with this school. If that was the case, why did they bother with proctoring? Also, most AACSB accredited programs require Management Info Sys. as part of their curriculum. LSUS just made a change to align with that. Doesn't make sense to make all these changes to mirror other schools just to lose accreditation.
As for the books, I will agree that some books were really valuable (Playing to Win; I still can't find what happened to my copy) and others not so much. Realistically, good information can come from any source like TED talks, HBR, WSJ... fundamental business principles generally don't change. Do new theories and practices come out? Sure, all the time. If the school can find a way to get books free and the material is relevant in improving your leadership toolbox, then it should be looked at as plus. I got most of the books free and I doubt they are any better than the ones the school is going include for free.

I did that pairing last session. Not really that bad. ACCT 701 I spent maybe an hour to an hour and a half a week max. It used cenage completely. Not sure how the new format is going to pan out. As for MADM 701, when I took it, she used wiley. You had to take a 20 question assessment before you could take the assessment you needed to for points. Then you had to do an assignment in wiley (same thing as assessments but it is graded by how many you get right). Weekly exams using proctorio through moodle. Last but not least, 1000 word discussion board post. If there is any similarity when I paired the two, MADM 701 is going to eat your time.

So I just applied for graduation. Should be conferred Aug 31st. Only thing is, now that they have released more concentrations, I am thinking about extending getting one over the general. Thoughts?

I took it last session. You have to pay $40ish for access to the book and assignments/assessments that count for points.

Roanoke, pretty much. I think the set-up time took as long as the test did for me. Proctor U sucks.

At the end of every chapter, you answer a questionnaire, and write 1-2 paragraphs on them. About 12 questionnaires. You to write a 1 page leadership statement, 5 multi-paragraph "moments of inspiration" stories. You get the info right out of the gate and have the entire course to work on it.

in Madm 720 right now with kim williams. it is not that bad. open book quizes 10 questions 25 minutes no proctoring. weekly 200 word discussion and 2 100 word responses. 3 case studies (2 pages worth of writing or less double spaced). and a leadership portfolio which is basically a journal. and a final.

Ctrl P, print to PDF (whatever variation of that you have) select the pages.

Questions were like on Moodle, not page references. E-book was allowed, and used for every question. I didn't care for ProctorU. I am in a hotel and used the conference room. It took like 25 minutes before I tested.
Best advice would is to create a PDF with only the chapters covered for the 2 modules. Ctrl F the rest of the way using key words and you should be good.

For the isds 705 folks, are you all still studying really hard knowing it's open book? How are you all preparing for the test?
