lol, the ESG lovers are trying to keep it pumped up.

If I was into shorting, I would place a 4 or 5 month expiring one on it.

but they have many choices on what to drink. I may be off base but it feels like Bud Lite would have had no choice but to cede market share to a lot of competitors from the craft beer scene or even other types of alcoholic beverage in the last decade and I would sort of expect that to continue.

When you have pissed off your core audience it's not going to be an easy fix. Ask the Dixie Chicks how long it took them to be somewhat forgiven for their little stunt of pissing off their core Audience. Agree the next earnings report will be UGLY. If you can hold out to then it should be around 50 or less. Bud better hope the Core group now boycotting doesnt find another cheap beer to stick with. If that's the case hope it was worth it.

AB about to take a bath during football season. That’s their peak North American season. I would wait multiple earnings before anything long term

Maybe not yet but when the sheeple
who had their masculinity threatened move on it will
normalize. Also they have tons of brands and will shift marketing to build up elsewhere

But international sales are not being hurt the way yours are.
As a matter of fact, they’re increasing for all brands.

Sales across all brands are down 27% per an employee

These types of boycotts don't work long-term

*most don’t

Bud Light is very easily substituted, not sure what would make people go back

when you don't have any to begin with, there is nothing to threaten. you have it easy, pal

especially after you melted down about racist rice, syrup, and butter. Big Win!

I think a lot of people boycotting bud light will just realize it’s a shitty beer to begin with, so going back wont be an issue

1.3% dividend and they just raised it.
None of this strikes me as particularly enticing in a 5% interest rate environment especially.

That's not a boycott. That's losing market share because your product changed.

Completely different situation.

They alienated their customer base to grow in an area that was never going to grow. Just baffling how out of touch these people are.

In a related experiment, when Dixie changed their name, sales fell 50%. Core audience abandoned the brand and they didn’t pick up new customers from the group they were appealing to. Same thing is happening with Bud Light with add that they pissed off the LGBTQ audience with the crawfish.
