Yup - you guys will find out I don't buy stocks at the lowest possible price, I buy the company. Makes me smile though, in the long run if we stick together, I assure you in a year not only will your portfolio make you smile, your investment knowledge will grow exponentially .

Did some repositioning to get in a bit deeper on WKHS and RIDE at this afternoons prices.

AT- I know you deal in a LOT bigger numbers in purchasing power than I have, but I'm looking for some advice all the same. Lets say I have $1k to spend. How much should I throw in on WKHS and how much should I put in on something else like RIDE or FORW?

If I had $1K to invest knowing what I know. $1K buy on WKHS gets you 28 shares. HOLD & be Patient. When WKHS hits...take that $4200 and split between 3 stocks.....we will need to revisit which 3 at that time. GL

OUCH!!
The last delay hurt deeply. I don’t see how it could happen a 3rd time. On the other hand anything is possible working with the GUBMENT!!!
Ok let’s be serious for a moment. WKHS sits today at $34.86 w/o USPS. imo - be prepared. If the contract is delayed the stock will dip......I am buying every share available with the cash I have available. Why? Because WKHS is worth $45 - $60 today without USPS. Only held down in this price range by those MEAN HEDGE FUNDS....GL.

This is the type of question I have been afraid to ask as not to appear that I don't know exactly what I'm doing and maybe shouldn't be buying stocks in the first place. Thank you for asking this question Jgood and AT really appreciate all of your info/advice you share and your willingness to help.
I have been lurking awhile and trying my hand at stocks not knowing exactly how I should be buying here and there to make sure I was diversified. Today I said screw it and decided to ride it out with you guys and spread the 13K that I have alotted in my SDBA with WKHS, TSNP, RIDE, and ZOM. Already had small positions in each from following along but now I have decent holdings in each.....at least for me. Taking advice and long holding. If I lose I lose it. Oh well and its back to just the index fund. Hoping for a fun ride up.

Sold a large portion of mine that allows me to recoup my original cash outlay and still have skin in the game. I feel like I’m playing with house money at this point with those shares and am going to let it ride.
If it goes up to $3,000 a share I’ll probably throw up, but I’m playing it a little safer right now and have accepted that.
ETA: I also plan to get back in with a chunk of my original purchase amount if it gets back down under $25 a share.

One of my favorite companies. Where do I start 1998? Yup - 1998. See the founder of WKHS is Steve Burns.....wut? I asked about RIDE...yup CEO of RIDE is Steve Burns. One in the same.
