If there is a gap between HS kid graduating and lower school kids entering high school, wait and do it then.

I think cost of living is the biggest narrowing factor but I’m jealous of the thought exercise.

Nah, my wife and I enjoy it here but he would probably be looking at 3 kids in a private school. And for God's sake don't move to CO Springs, I was there this past weekend (we had considered moving there) and it has gone to shite over the past 5+ years and homeless peeps too many to count. About an hour from Logan in Boston.
Great outdoors activities.
Good public schools and safe area.
The only thing I'm not sure about is the swim club but there are tons of indoors sporting activities.
