Quick, rough math shows my household saving about $7k. I'm not counting on the, but it would be yuge, bigly savings.

Same. I'm a young single guy that makes decent money for being mid 20s. This would save me between 2 and 3 grand. Probably closer to 2, but I live in Tx and don't own a home so pretty much I'm not losing any deductions and lowering my effective rate by a sinificant margin.

I’m expecting it saves me 3-4K in 2018.

I’m honestly fine if I break even as long as it simplifies the code.

If that calculator is correct, I'm gonna be saving around $25,000 a year. Damn.

Oddly enough, there's very little change for foshizzle's tax bill.

If correct, it would be about 6-7k savings for my wife and me. I'll take it.

Showing a 22k tax cut on my end, granted I’ve also added a kid to the mix.

If it’s 1/4 of that I’ll be thrilled.

Yeah, not a huge fan of increasing government subsidies for children. It would be nice to have an actual straight up no social engineering deduction tax system with lower rates, but as long as the middle class salivates over child credits and mortgage interest deductions, that won’t happen.

I would save about $400. Suddenly I do not care about this issue!
