Have you been in any of the threads about this on the poli board? I'm not so sure a lot of people over there accept the obvious as you insinuate.
But to your point, when Biden was president, extreme right sky screams about Ukraine corruption, left ignored dubious facts and dismissed it. Same shite, different day, different direction of origin.
I just accept they are all probably grifters as everyone before them, so which grifter is going to enact policies that align with me better than the other. Always a lesser of 2 evils situation these days.

The fact that a sitting president is openly grifting is such a sad state of affairs.

Such legislation would have to be passed by a Congressional majority and signed by the President.
Will never happen. Maybe some toothless words on a page that are never enforced just to shut up us peasants, but that would be it.
