At what point are all of you selling? $8, $10? Or are you in long term thinking this will hit 20+ one day?

I already didn't sell any at $12 with an avg basis of $3.80, so don't ask me what to do

This has always been my play going back 500 pages in this thread. I've admittedly sold, bought, sold, bought, ...over that time frame, but my stack is now pretty high again.

I'm still not convicted if this is my golden chariot, or a three wheeled chuckwagon with no horse.

$20+.

Unless I have some unforeseeable need for cash, I be holding this for at least 5-10 more years. Or if we get some crazy run up or squeeze to unrealistic levels. I plan on making more this go around than the last.

Held through thick and thin and will continue to do so, unless we catch a wildcard.

Piedmont shot from $7 a share to $70 on an email mentioning them from Musk. Now that's a wildcard especially since they aren't producing anything and likely won't be until they can overcome local resistance to their strip-mine.

Been in it since page 1 and I haven't sold any, only added in the nice dips. I'm at 3,705 shares currently.

I’m holding 2,974 shares at 4.06 basis. Hoping to recover my investment by selling 974 shares or less, so my target price to do that is around $12.42. Then wait and see how things look at the 1 year mark for the remaining 2,000 shares.

At the same time, I don’t know a thing.
Godspeed, gentlemen.

I stumbled across Ioneer (IONR) this morning. It seems that they've already signed a binding agreement with Ford for lithium last year (7000 TPA for first 5 years). They've been approved for a $700MM loan from DOE to develop their Rhyolite Ridge project in Nevada. First production in 2026.

Anyone else on this one? I feel like Ive been missing out on companies that are further along than SLI.

SLI should be producing by 2025 per the current time line. Selling the product should be easy. I also remember something about Laxess wanting to buy the product.

Looks like LAC got their permit for Thacker Pass. Could be a nice boost for the sector

Lanxess has signed a 100% off take agreement for the Lanxess project. That plant is, currently, sold out. I think this fact is overlooked by a lot of investors.

You’re not going to see some big manufacturer agreement because right now SLI can’t offer them anything until the southwest project is online which is still 5 years out.

ETA: Rereading that it sounds kind of negative but I didn’t mean it that way. SLI hasn’t even started building the Lanx plant and all of that material is spoken for. It’s a huge risk reduction.

I held through that, but I know if I had sold at $12, I would have bought the first dip at $10. Then seeing $3 again would have been very painful!

I finally broke on the way down and dumped a thousand shares at 6.50, missed the bottom and have it mostly back avg high 3s, but yeah, I would have bought back in at 11.50 if I'd sold at the high.

Its only a PR/ stock price issue. We will never have "Elon" or GM Tweet saying they are buying it all, because its already bought.

Omg, Austin mentioned it.

Tesla Could Be Forced To Buy A Lithium Miner

quote:

Our second choice is Standard Lithium (SLI) based out of Arkansas. Standard is on existing private land in a potential partnership with Lanxess. Standard Lithium is 423 miles by car from the Austin, TX Giga factory. As an interesting side note the patented DLE process that Standard Lithium sports was designed by a company that Koch now owns. The same Koch that invested $100 million into Standard

quote:

The risk to Tesla or any car maker is frankly waiting too long and the music stops. All the lithium "chairs" could be taken and supply very hard to obtain. Meanwhile the competition might have secured dedicated exclusive supply and discounts, (much like GM has achieved with Thacker Pass). From a capital standpoint the risk is low as most car makers can use credit lines or simply issue stock to pay for transaction

The article mentioned that Tesla should buy before news of government $$ results in an increase in stock price. I’m hoping for a much better return on my investment than the current stock price. And some on this board may have bought in when the price was $12.

I would rather gain a deep pocket non-dilutive deal and sit back while the stock price (hopefully) soars.

I believe I've read the current location has access to over 2B valuation of lithium, that right there justifies a 12$ SP, figure in the tech and patents/other locations and I think it's a safe double or more in the event of a buyout.

Not that I expected any revelations at this stage, but did anyone learn something new here?
