I think they have the process down. I have done a couple of large projects that were serial number 001 or 002. There’s going to be some hiccups, but Koch doesn’t bet on dead horses. We have to keep in mind this technology is in its infancy. I work with guys that were experimenting with this stuff straight out of college at this site and they’re not 30. They say it has legs.

Yeh, German market up 5% on some actual trading. That’s odd. It’s been pretty dead recently.
ETA: not sure what’s going on. Premarket here reflects the jump in Germany. Rest of the sector is not doing this so it’s unique to SLI. It’s not massive volume, but it’s not a random MM posting a low volume T trade either. Curious if a PR comes out.

FEED award expected in August, not FID. FID not expected til Q1 ‘23
But yeh, I seriously doubt they’d release that PR just last week saying they expect FEED in August if there was any chance it’d be awarded the following week. It would have to be something else; maybe some grant money. Maybe something to do with processing brine from the SW site. No idea what other news they could release.

Suppose it could also be absolutely nothing and market is just deciding to let SLI run a little bit and hopefully make our weekend better. Who the heck knows.

TSLA is also up a chunk premarket so the only logical conclusion I got is that we’re about to see a TSLA/SLI JV on the SW Arkansas site. $20 end of day. Fin.
Seriously though, best I got is that a German investing blog put out a video yesterday in which SLI was highlighted. No idea what they’re saying but it looked positive. 10k views. I suppose that may be it since the Frankfurt market led the way on the price increase.

Something about the two projects should be valued at $3 billion vs. their current valuation of $750 million. Also repeated a $10 euro stock price buy rating by some German magazine. Generally positive discussion on lithium as well.
