Yeh I got nothing. This trading makes no sense. Low volume, massive move. Runs all over.
Wish I could just swing trade this but I can't afford to be out when news hits at this point. Need to just turn it all off and wait til news drops. Pretty unbelievable they have been this quiet for so long.

I'm tempted to do a big swing trade on the next peak, but I worry that it would have a Piedmont moment when I do.

That is what keeps me from swinging more shares than I have been, but it sure is tempting to go bigger with these swing trades since the SLI chart looks something like the Great American Scream Machine at Six Flags. The hard part is riding out the 30 days to avoid the wash rule. I'd really like to buy back the shares I sold March 31st for $8.45 today for $2 less/share, but I'm just going to have to be patient and hope for another strong buying day like today. Based on our economy, I don't have much fear that there won't be more good buying opportunities in the future. Hopefully Elon will hold off on buying the company until I've accumulated more.

Oh yea, I hadn't bought any SLI in a few months. Scraped up some pocket change and rounded up to a total of 800 shares so far. Probably going to try and get to 1000 by the end of the summer and call it good unless we get some actual news or a catalyst.

Regarding the Motely Fool article on Elon/Tesla getting into the mining business, from that article:
This author isn't assuming that he will join up with an existing player and boost them along. And the author is assuming that Elon's comments are what drove the share prices down Friday.
I wonder if either or both are true.
I'm considering bumping up my positions in all of my lithium holdings (except SLI, where I'm already very heavy).

That was a lot of presumptive speculation for sure.
Musk could buy an existing lithium miner.
