I try to talk him out of it each time. He did use the money to buy some production when oil bottomed out. So, he didn't piss it away. He knows I'll sell it back to him at a reasonable mark up for tying up my money. It could be cut now and he'd probably pay me for it like it hadn't been. I won't do that yet. I guess it's better me than a bank. If prices stay up, I'll be hearing from him real soon.

ETA-and he did get about 25k shares of SLI at around $.45-.55, he's still holding too. Hell, he's gonna come out on the better end of this unless I really gouge him. He knows I won't though.

no revenue - which makes me curious what is happening to the small amount of product the pilot is producing and the work they mentioned on the South American below battery grade lithium.

I assume they are doing it all pro bono right now?

I could care less what the revenue number is right now (obviously), but thought we would see a trickle

I don't see anything alarming in the Q3 financials, about as expected. They have about 18 months of cash left at their current burn rate before they would need to get more cash somehow (this assumes no step change like starting the JV, just continued exploration of opportunities and operation of the pilot plant).

The volume is so low today. I don't know that the report has much to do with the price action. Maybe a little.

No revenue is fine.

We know they are producing Lithium. What they do with it really doesn't matter until commercial scale.

If I had to guess, they probably aren't even allowed to legally sell it yet. Likely need more permitting and red tape navigated first. Restricted to R&D use only.

Yep. I guess Lanxess could take it for their use in a partnership and it wouldn't be for a sale.

That's why I think the shelf offering may be coming soon. They need cash and they need it now. They may not. I don't think they want to dilute ownership unless it's for the Tetra project. Apparently they are planning on having commercial production in 2023 which would be ahead of the others trying DLE. And by ramping up too soon, you risk diluting the market and price of lithium now. Lithium prices and demand are going up. If they know that their tech works and is scalable, there is no need to rush and create cash flow issues.

They said Lanxess would take all of their initial offtake from demo plant. I guess they never said "buy". Not sure. I assumed Lanxess was purchasing, but considering that they are partners, there's no reason to purchase from a partner that you are funding.

Hmm up 3% in the after hours to $10.65 on 18k shares volume, which is a lot for the entire after hours session and we're less than an hour in. Apparently there was a large buy on the Canadian SLI symbol just before the close.

My stocks always do better in the AH it seems. They’ll look fantastic in the PM most days then turn to shite then slowly recover and back in the green in AH

Per the company website.

That is a required filing update to let everyone know that the Auditors included a going concern paragraph in their opinion - Which is a guaranteed occurrence for a pre-revenue development company. So it’s much ado about nothing

Thanks for clarifying that. I read it and saw “audit” and thought oh shite but then thought it was a standard operating procedure. Just wasn’t sure

I'm glad someone can explain this stuff, since I can't figure most of it out on my own. Seriously. Much of this is over my head unless it's put in layman's terms.

It’s certainly not good. Whether it’s an expected reality for a company with no revenue or not won’t be a valid excuse for big money investors. Especially in this market. Probably see a further pullback next week. These are risks I’m sure many of us were already willing to hold through.
