It’s taking a lot of self control and risk analysis to keep me from throwing another 1000 shares into my account.
The mere mention of this word: workhorse. Is enough to remind myself not to be an idiot.

I’m familiar with Stephen’s group. But where you seeing their ownership? My Morningstar page must not be updated with them yet.

Amen brother!! I still have WKHS down -80%... I try not to have more than 5-10% of portfolio in any one stock but those type losses hurt all the same..

Honestly I’m just stressed this morning because I might be unemployed soon due to the vax mandate so losing any money is stressing me out due to that fact

Just curious since we talking stocks and catfish farming, anyone here get fricked in the early 2000s with the AquaPro Corp pump and dump scam?
I think there is still a contract out here to kill the guy who who did it. It was the only catfish operation to ever be publicly traded. He came from Memphis and created this company and did a bunch of JV with local existing farms promising them he had connections to processors to sell their fish. He cooked the books on inventories and sales volume and used the ventures to send the stock sky high, then sold his stock out took 17 million dollars and high tailed it leaving the other farmers and shareholders in the public market losing millions and eventually the farms were under federal investigation. Far as I know that guy got away with it but a couple farmers who knew what was going on did some prison time

Reminds me of the B&B worm farm story from a few decades ago... knew some folks that lost a couple of thousand bucks on that scam.

I actually have some equipment from that farm scam when they liquidated it. AquaPro was bought out by IHI (international holdings) and then the industry scaled down and they shut it down. I have some aerators with IHI still welded onto the frame
