Just stumbled on this,

nasdaq.com has pretty good info on recent trades

shows real time trades, and the last several hours.

ironic?

If we go to production and revenue and things are as rosy as it seems I will grab some more, but probably looking at what 9-10 bucks?

Here's an article (that appears to be from a nasdaq publication of some sort) that mentions SLI, although it is absolutely incorrect about the $8.xx mark in my opinion.

All the same, it was worth a nice mention.

7 Great Momentum Stocks to Buy Before July Ends

ETA: From what I've seen, the nasdaq page does the best of collecting (or making?) news regarding SLI.

I have 40k

If any of y’all sell tomorrow I’m gonna be pissed

I have a date with a cute doctor chick and I need E*TRADE to be green, preferably more than 10k. Us millennials are struggling to stay green while you boomers swing trade and drive down the price

Heavily opinionated take, but still nice to make a list amongst the giants!

Yeh that article was pretty wrong behind its reasoning for the price uptick but…publicity is publicity.

Musk hasn't tweeted about it is because he's manipulated the media and is trying to keep the share price depressed, so that Tesla can get a better deal on a buyout. That's the rumor (that I'm starting).

It is odd that he hasn't truthfully. I could see Tesla working a deal with SLI that would help Tesla corner the market on green lithium. Don't forget, Mintak and Musk have done business together before. Musk would love to shove this up Lilac's arse. He gonna need a lot of lithium for Tesla, SpaceX and wouldn't it be funny if his competitors had to buy it from him or use "dirty lithium"? And the fact of the constant narrative of those against EV's or Tesla that it destroys the environment to make the batteries. What if it don't? What if it makes it better? I think we have a big news drop in the next 2-3 business days.

They are talking about takeover of SLI. He raised his price target to 8 euros because “what i now believe is standard lithium is bought as a whole and there is no joint venture”

Laxness would be the buyer. He believes Laxness wants the whole thing and at approx. billion euro purchase price they would do it. Laxness would then have all the lithium they need, be clean and be able to begin production or build it up there quickly. He values the premiums at about 2 euros over whatever the price is, e.g. if it's at 8 euro the sale price would be 10.

DISCLAIMER THIS WAS ROUGH UNDERSTANDING OF GERMAN AND GOOGLE TRANSLATE

Would our purchased stock share price rise, stay the same or lose value if SLi is bought out by another company?

Not likely to have any news tomorrow so I’ll throw some fire on the buyout speculation that we’re making up (I really don’t think I want a buyout but the potential for an overnight 2-3x gain is still fun). There is some negative in here though.

Everyone is wondering why the uplist got expedited with no news drop in the next month. Well, any major suitor is going to have to justify the purchase price to their current investors, and it doesn’t fly in this sector if you’re paying a 400% premium on the current market price to acquire someone. So what do you do if you want to pay $2B for a $500M company? Bring up their market cap by getting them listed.

Lanxess first. They appear to be building a cash position (~$300 mil cash and equivalents in Q4 ‘20 vs $1.6 B in Q1 ‘21). They converted their loan to SLI to shares early. They’ve divested some of their businesses recently and have spoken to building other technologies. Obviously they are a reasonable suitor.

Albemarle now (I haven’t talked to anyone at Albemarle about this). They don’t have a lot of free cash but they have financed huge acquisitions in the past. When they bought Rockwood, it looked similar. Rockwood was trading around $40 in 2013, the price spiked over the next year to ~$70 and then Albemarle announced an equivalent purchase price of ~$80/share. A 15% premium is a lot easier to explain to your shareholders than a 100% premium. Albemarle is all in on being the world leader in Lithium production.

Are we in a situation where a buyout price has been agreed to and we’re just waiting on the market price to catch up so it looks like a reasonable premium?

The price run with no news might support that. Unfortunately, it begs the question, “what is the buyout price”? Do we have a 9 month run in front of us with the stock price doubling again? Are we already close and the buyout is around $1.5B which would seem almost like a disappointment at this point? Nobody knows! Tune in next time, for Dragon Ball Z!

*This has been a slow Thursday tin foil hat prediction. Please don’t give any weight to my nonsense. I’m at the bar.*

ETA: I typed all that up before the last few posts….weird…and I don’t speak German.
